I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2001 with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Information Technology. I was recruited to consult right out of school for American Management Systems, and for the next three years I worked on financial systems for an array of federal government clients.
During my time with AMS, I successfully led a team to develop and implement an eTravel Tracking System. I also designed software to enhance the current government financial systems by working long hours in the National Finance Center in New Orleans.
In the spring of 2004, I began working for Booz Allen as a Senior Consultant. While there, I worked on the Department of Justice's massive financial and eTravel system upgrades. I was the team leader in the technology, security, and task management aspects of the project. After winning an award for Excellence in Team Participation, I decided that my true desire was to help people with their personal finances, especially in regards to home purchasing and investing.
In the spring of 2005, I was recruited by my current mortgage company, First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation. After about six months of training with a Senior Loan Officer, I began to work on two condo conversion projects based out of Charlottesville and Alexandria. In addition to these two projects I do home financing for clients nationwide. I also hold my real estate license for Virginia as a referral agent, but do not actively represent clients. I am licensed to do business across the nation.
